19th century  Lancaster Co. Rag doll .. 21 ¼” tall .. early homespun firmly stuffed body .. pinched smaller waist .. wider hips like the earlier rag dolls have ..   she has nice weight to her .. nice old velvet on the back of her head and on her mitten hands ..

Brown wool is sewn onto her shaped feet and legs  ..

Her early homespun body has old age brown marks in different areas,

Authentic and expected ..

Her face is old penciled and has an old stitched repair ..

She wear a wonderful early  dress that is early brown check homespun

dress has old expected wear in areas ..

Dress is completely hand sewn ~

Underclothing is old pantaloons ..

Lancaster dolls are very scarce   … and highly prized  by knowledgeable

collectors ..
