Early Pennsylvania Sewing Bird ~ sewing birds were used as pin cushions ~ Children’s toys and others were given to young family members and family as keep sakes .. this sewing bird was found many years ago in Lancaster Co. Pa. and is from a private collection of sewing items.
It is as found condition … shows wear in different places … early cotton stuffed .
Old early sewing birds are not seen today in any condition .. they are not out there ~
