EARLY WONDERFUL RAG CLOTH DOLL
A Wonderful early 19thC. Rag doll … definetely one of the most unique rag dolls I have ever come across .. She is simply terrific.
She has a homespun calico body which is quite rare … stuffed with early cotton … Face features are another one of her best points ..old primitive hand stitched … she is 19 1/4" tall.
She has those wonderful shaped turned out feet .. wonderful arms with mitten hands.
Found without clothing … she now wears her early straw hat .. red skirt .. At one time she had some sort of hair … now only remnants remain in different areas on the back of her head which were pasted.
This is another good early rag doll, not often seen today, and for some one that is very into Early Rag Dolls .. this one is so outstanding.
She is Special like most rag dolls.
