This is a wonderful early bolster cover … found many years ago in Lancaster Co. Pa.
Beautiful old brown ~ early pieced wools ~ great colors
Measuring 24 ¾” x 19 3/8”
All the pieces of wools are hand sewn together ..
It has age wear in places on the brown ~ and age wear in places on the wool ~ black on back has age ..
This would be expected .. it is from a private collection ~ has been packed away for twenty years.
Very unique piece of folk art
