Early old blue painted doll cradle … found many years ago in Lancaster Co. Pa. very nice as found condition ..
Construction is old square nails … some round ..
Old nail holes in different areas on the top part of the cradle … one with remnant of a tiny piece of old string .. It’s possible that their may have been a doll quilt over the top of the cradle .. tacked or nailed to keep it in place .. that may be the reason for the tiny holes …
Beautiful old blue paint ... rockers show wear underneath bottom, where the small child rocked her rag baby .. so charming ..
Measures 14 ½´long x 6 ¾” from the top of the cradle to the bottom of the rockers ..
