Early Pa Rag Doll ..

A wonderful and early rag doll .. found years ago in Lancaster Co. Pa. She is 14 ½” tall ..

Love this type of rag doll head … pumpkin shaped .. bunched ..

Very faded blue features ..

She has nice old clothing in blues … pantaloons and top … black stockings that go up to her hips .. and she has those great shaped feet ..

Her body is old homespun .. a few old patch repairs … arms look like they have been reinforce with a few threads at some time ..

Her blue calico skirt is pinned on .. blue top is hand sewn and has one old tread loop and hook on the back ..

One hand has hand sewn primitive stitches to look like fingers .. the other hand is plain ..

She is very charming ..
